What our coaching involves.

Detailed assessment

You need time to tell your story. No more 15 minute rushed doctors appointments. We allow up to 90 minutes for our initial assessments to get a full outline of your history to inform a truly comprehensive plan.

Multifactorial approach 

For chronic pain, lots of things work a little bit, but rarely in isolation. We look at the full scope of factors that are involved in your pain to ensure we are addressing all areas in a way that suits you and is sustainable.

Informed safety 

We are experienced health practitioners and will not continue working with someone if there are any concerning features. We will ensure you seek necessary medical support should there be a safety concern. 

Customised plan

There is no one size fits all approach to pain. We seek to find the specific causes and solutions to your symptoms. We will work through barriers create an environment where new action feels possible.

Long-term strategies

Recovery is about introducing new information into our nervous system. We want to help you develop a plan and approach that is sustainable over the long term making new patterns your new normal. 

Ongoing support 

The regular healthcare system does not allow for support outside of short appointments. We want to change that. We offer email and SMS chat support for questions, concerns, and updates along your recovery journey.

The process.

We believe in our clients having as much control as possible and empowering to take charge of their own recovery. We will be there as often as you need us along the way. 

Understanding the problem is the first step to solving it. We believe the information necessary to understand your pain and evidence based solutions should not be just in the hands of health professionals, but available to everyone.

Education


In our coaching programs we go through a thorough multifactorial assessment. This involves tracing your pain timeline and key events in your life that are contributing to your current pain. This forms the basis of our plan.

Assessment


From our assessment you will be provided a plan that includes key education tools and strategies we have agreed upon that are most relevant to your personal pain drivers. This plan can be worked on over a period of weeks to months depending on your situation.

Support

We want to provide as much support as you feel you need along your journey. This can include email and SMS support for questions and updates as well as ongoing coaching support on a schedule that works your you and your goals.
